Individual Artists of Oklahoma (IAO) seeks proposals from qualified poets and writers for presentation at IAO gallery for the 2016-2017 calendar. Supporting artists of all disciplines, IAO seeks submissions in visual arts, performance, poetry, film & video, new media, installation, and interdisciplinary media. Preference will be given to artists who propose programming that is thought-provoking, progressive, or experimental in nature. Emerging artists of all ages are encouraged to apply.
IAO invites dancers, playwrights, actors, musicians and other performing artists to propose performances and programming. Examples include: plays, workshops, rehearsals, music showcases, concerts, and interactive events.
IAO invites poets and writers to propose performances and programming. Examples include: poetry reading, curated open mic night, book release and reading, CD release and reading, writing workshops.
FILM & VIDEO:
IAO invites film, video, performance and new media artists to propose screenings and programming. Examples include: video screenings, workshops, lecture series, film events, performance art, new media installations, digital art, installation and interactive events.
Programs are selected by a panel of qualified individuals from Oklahoma’s artistic community.
Members may submit free of charge.
Non-members must pay a $10 submission fee.

Proposal of programming (100-300 words)
Proposals are accepted ongoing throughout the year and artists will be notified once submission is received by programming committee and staff.
